Godstone Farm is £16.95 a head booked the day before, £18.95 at the gate, soft play included. Half term, fireworks and Father Christmas prices for 2026.

Godstone Farm is the children’s farm park on Tilburstow Hill Road, just off junction 6 of the M25 (Godstone Farm, FAQs). From Sevenoaks it is the next junction west, in Surrey. One ticket covers the animals, an outdoor adventure playground, a dinosaur trail and what the farm calls Surrey’s biggest indoor soft play.

That last part is why Sevenoaks families make the trip in autumn and winter. If it rains, you move indoors without paying again.

The prices that matter: £16.95 a head booked at least a day ahead on an off-peak day, £18.95 if you pay at the gate. Every figure below comes from Godstone Farm’s own website, checked on 3 October 2026. Where the farm does not publish something, we say so.

What a ticket costs

Godstone runs off-peak and peak prices. Peak follows the Surrey school holidays published by Surrey County Council, plus bank holidays. The summer and Christmas holidays have their own prices (Godstone Farm, FAQs).

The cheapest tickets are bought online at least a day before your visit. That saves £2 a ticket against the gate price, but the farm adds a £2 booking fee to each online transaction (Godstone Farm, prices). For one adult and one child you save £2 overall. For a family of four you save £6.

For two adults and two children aged 2 or over, that works out as:

  • Off-peak, booked a day ahead: £67.80, plus the £2 fee
  • Off-peak, at the gate: £75.80
  • Peak, booked a day ahead: £79.80, plus the £2 fee
  • Peak, at the gate: £87.80

Tickets cannot be refunded or moved to another date, including for bad weather (Godstone Farm, FAQs). The farm also says only limited tickets are sold at the gate, so turning up on a busy day is a gamble.

Two discounts are worth knowing. Blue Light Card and Defence Discount Service holders get £1.50 off up to four day tickets. Blue Peter badge holders aged 16 and under get in free with a full-price adult. Neither works on special events such as the Christmas visits (Godstone Farm, FAQs).

There is no annual pass on sale at the moment. The farm says its next seasonal passes are still being worked on (Godstone Farm, seasonal passes).

What is included

The farm says it looks after more than 500 animals (Godstone Farm). A day ticket covers:

  • the farm trail and pond walk
  • the Animal Interactions Barn, where children meet rabbits, chickens and other small animals
  • the Reptile House and the Rabbit Walk
  • the outdoor adventure playground, with a toboggan run, three sandpits and ride-on tractors for under 6s
  • the World of Dinosaur Roar! discovery trail
  • the indoor Play Barn

Animal sessions run between 10:00 and 16:00, and the timings change daily, so check the welcome leaflet when you arrive. The pig race runs at weekends and in school holidays only. Animal feed is extra, sold online and in the gift shop, and only for the sheep, goats, cows and llamas (Godstone Farm, prices; FAQs).

The Play Barn

This is the soft play, and it is big. The farm gives it as 352 square metres over two storeys, with seven slides and room for 200 children (Godstone Farm, prices). There is a separate baby area, a toddler area for 4 and under, and a sensory area. The main frame suits children from about 4 upwards.

A few rules catch people out (Godstone Farm, FAQs):

  • Socks are compulsory in the play areas.
  • There are no timeslots, but on busy days your time inside may be limited. You can go back in as often as you like.
  • You cannot buy a soft play only ticket. Entry comes with the farm ticket.
  • On the first Saturday of each month the barn opens to general visitors at 10:30, after a SEND session.
  • Last admission is 16:00. The farm gives the closing time as 16:30 on one page and 16:45 on another.

There are toilets and baby changing on both floors, a lift, and an accredited Changing Places toilet.

If you only want soft play, our soft play near Sevenoaks page compares the indoor-only centres closer to home.

After-school tickets

On selected term-time weekdays the farm sells after-school entry from 3.30pm. A child is £11.50 booked a day ahead or £12.50 on the day; under 2s are £5.75 or £6.75. Accompanying adults go free with an after-school ticket (Godstone Farm, prices).

Last entry is 4.45pm. The lower floor of the Play Barn stays open to 5.45pm, but the upper floor shuts at 4.30pm (Godstone Farm, FAQs). Getting there from a Sevenoaks school gate by 4.45pm is tight. But for one adult and two children it costs £23 booked ahead, against £50.85 for an off-peak day ticket.

Halloween, fireworks and Father Christmas

The farm runs three seasonal events between now and Christmas.

Godstone Farm's autumn and winter events, 2026
EventDatesAdultChild
HalloweenSat 17 Oct to Sun 1 Nov, daily£19.95£19.95 (2 to 15)
Mini Fireworks FestivalSat 24 and Sun 25 Oct, from 4.30pm£17.95£17.95 (2+)
Father Christmas, daytime21 Nov to 24 Dec, selected days£21.95from £37.95 to £49.95 (2 to 15)
Father Christmas, duskSame days, 5.30pm to 7pmFree£32.95

Halloween runs every day from 17 October to 1 November. The ticket is the normal farm day plus the Halloween activities. Pumpkin carving costs £5 extra and marshmallow toasting £3.50 (Godstone Farm, Halloween). One caution: the farm says it is still confirming its 2026 schedule, and the activity list on its page describes last year. Treat the trail and craft details as likely rather than promised.

The dates cover both weeks of the two-week break most Sevenoaks schools take this year. Our October half term guide has the school dates and what else is on.

The Mini Fireworks Festival is on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October. Gates open from 4.30pm and the finale is around 7pm (Godstone Farm, fireworks). It is a low-bang show with lasers, built for small children and anyone who hates loud fireworks. The ticket includes after-hours soft play and the adventure playground at dusk. Under 2s are £13.95 and under 1s are free.

The farm says these nights sell fast and pre-booking is essential. It also sells a same-day farm park add-on at £10 a person, so you can spend the day at Halloween and stay for the show. Our fireworks displays page lists every other display near Sevenoaks.

Father Christmas visits on the last two weekends of November, every December weekend until Christmas, and every day from 18 to 24 December (Godstone Farm, Father Christmas). Daytime tickets include the farm park, a show, cookie decorating and a gift. Dusk tickets are cheaper and adults go free, but there is no farm park, show or cookie decorating.

There are also SEND visits, with soft lights and no loud music:

  • the afternoons of Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November
  • at dusk on Thursday 3 and Tuesday 8 December

The farm says its peak Christmas dates book up well in advance.

Godstone Farm or Eagle Heights?

The other animal day out on the Sevenoaks side is Eagle Heights at Eynsford. It is cheaper: £16.95 an adult and £12.95 a child aged 3 to 14, so £59.80 for a family of four (Eagle Heights, plan your visit).

But they are different days. Eagle Heights is birds of prey and flying displays, mostly outdoors. Godstone is a hands-on farm with a huge indoor play space. For under 5s on a wet day, Godstone is the safer bet. For a child old enough to watch a falconry display, Eagle Heights is the better show.

Bar chart of what two adults and two children pay: Eagle Heights £59.80; Godstone Farm £67.80 off-peak booked a day ahead, £75.80 off-peak at the gate, £79.80 peak booked a day ahead and £87.80 peak at the gate
Paying at the gate costs a family of four £8 more at Godstone than booking a day ahead, before the £2 online fee. Chart by Sevenoaks Online

Food and picnics

Picnics are welcome, and there are undercover areas near the courtyard (Godstone Farm, FAQs). You cannot eat your own food in the Courtyard Kitchen or the Play Barn café.

The Play Barn café opens daily. The Courtyard Kitchen opens 10:00 to 16:30 at weekends and in school holidays, serving food from 11:00 to 16:00 (Godstone Farm, prices). On term-time weekdays it shuts at 2.30pm and sells only drinks and cakes. The farm warns food outlets may close early in wet weather.

Getting there

Godstone Farm is a car trip from Sevenoaks. Take the M25 west to junction 6 and follow the brown signs from Godstone village (Godstone Farm, FAQs). Parking is free.

Watch the car park closing time. The farm’s FAQs give it as 5pm in one answer and 6pm in another. Plan to be out by 5pm and you will not be caught either way.

The farm lists Caterham as its nearest station, with the 400, 409 and 410 buses into Godstone village. None of the routes it lists runs from Sevenoaks, so from here it is a drive.

Accessibility

The farm says it is wheelchair accessible, but warns that some paths are uneven and narrow, and the site is hilly (Godstone Farm, FAQs). One carer goes free with booking reference and proof, such as a PIP or DLA letter, a Blue Badge, or a Nimbus card.
