Where kids eat free or for £1 near Sevenoaks: £1 meals after 3pm daily at the Restaurant Hub, free under-16 breakfasts at Premier Inn. Checked 1 September 2026.

Every September the kids eat free lists quietly die. The offers that filled the summer holidays are built around school holidays, and most of them end in the first week of the month. So this page does something the national lists do not: it separates the kids eat free deals near Sevenoaks that run all year, term time included, from the ones that vanish this week. Every offer here was checked against the operator’s own website on 1 September 2026, because these deals churn, and a listicle from July is already wrong.

The short version:

  • two offers near Sevenoaks have no end date, and both work on an ordinary school night
  • two more end this week, on Friday 4 and Sunday 6 September
  • and several places the national lists still recommend are closed, unlisted, or were never here

The £1 deal with no end date: the Restaurant Hub, Otford Road

The strongest offer in the district is the one the national lists mostly miss. The Restaurant Hub is the food court inside the Sainsbury’s superstore on Otford Road (TN14 5EG), and its own offers page is unambiguous: kids eat for £1 every day after 3pm, one kids’ meal per purchased adult meal (The Restaurant Hub offers).

There is no end date and no school-holiday restriction, which makes it the one reliable answer to “kids eat free Sevenoaks” on a wet Tuesday in November. The £1 price applies to kids’ meals from Slim Chickens and Harry Ramsden’s, and to Caffè Carluccio’s kids’ sandwiches. The Hub lets a table mix dishes from its five kitchens, so the adult meal can come from a different counter (The Restaurant Hub).

Two things to know before you go:

  • the offer cannot be stacked with any other promotion, and the Hub reserves the right to withdraw it at any time, so treat “no end date” as “no end date announced”
  • this is not a Sainsbury’s Cafe, so the supermarket’s own national cafe deals do not apply here; the Hub’s £1 deal is the local version, and it is better

The Sevenoaks Hub is listed on the company’s own locations page with the store’s address and a direct phone number, 01732 903509 (Restaurant Hub locations). Parking at the superstore is the usual customer car park, and the after-3pm window lands neatly on the school run.

Free kids’ breakfasts every day: Premier Inn, Hitchen Hatch Lane

Premier Inn’s breakfast deal is national, permanent and genuinely generous: when an adult orders the full Premier Inn Breakfast, up to two under-16s eat breakfast for free (Premier Inn breakfast). The full cooked-and-continental buffet starts from £10.99, the continental option from £9.99, and the kids’ free breakfast rides on the adult buying the full version or a Meal Deal.

Sevenoaks has a Premier Inn on Hitchen Hatch Lane (TN13 3BE), on the station side of town, and its own hotel page carries the same two-kids-free wording (Premier Inn Sevenoaks). Two practical notes:

  • Premier Inn’s site does not say whether you need to be staying overnight to book breakfast, so ring the hotel before planning a walk-in
  • the hotel has no car park of its own; it points drivers to the chargeable Bradbourne car park (TN13 3YD), and our free parking in Sevenoaks page covers the cheaper options nearby

For a family of four, two adult breakfasts at £10.99 with two children eating free works out at about £5.50 a head, all you can eat. That is hard to beat anywhere in town.

Ending this week: Toby Carvery and Zizzi

Toby Carvery Badgers Mount (London Road, TN14 7AD) is the district’s Toby, ten minutes up the A21 from town. Its summer deal gives one £1 kids’ meal, kids’ carvery or kids’ all-you-can-eat breakfast with each qualifying adult meal, for up to six adults and six children, dine-in only. It runs until Friday 4 September, and you claim the voucher through the Toby app before you visit (Toby Carvery offers). After Friday the branch still serves its children’s menu and all-you-can-eat breakfast at normal prices (Toby Carvery Badgers Mount).

Zizzi at 35 London Road (TN13 1AR) runs the town-centre version. Members of its free Zillionaires’ Club get one free three-course Bambini meal with every adult main, Sunday to Friday, until Sunday 6 September (Zizzi kids eat free). The terms are specific:

  • the offer is for Zillionaires’ Club members, showing the code in the app at payment
  • one free Bambini meal per adult main, up to six free meals per table
  • it can be used once every 24 hours, and not alongside any other discount

Once the offer ends, the Bambini menu costs £8.95 for three courses. Zizzi cut it to £7.83 over the summer by passing on the government’s temporary VAT reduction on attractions and hospitality, and that reduction finishes with 1 September, so the full price applies from 2 September (Zizzi). We covered what else got dearer on 2 September when the same VAT cut ended at Knole, Hever and Riverhill. Zizzi’s own offer page says the kids eat free deal returns “during selected school holidays”, with no dates yet for October.

Timeline of kids eat free and £1 kids' meal offers near Sevenoaks from 1 September to 31 October 2026: Toby Carvery ends 4 September, Zizzi ends 6 September, the Restaurant Hub and Premier Inn breakfast run all year, October half term 26 to 30 October highlighted with no offers announced yet
What ends this week and what carries on. The two year-round offers are the ones that still work in term time; nothing is announced yet for October half term.

Where the national lists get Sevenoaks wrong

The big kids eat free roundups are written once and syndicated everywhere, and for Sevenoaks they are wrong in four places. Each of these was checked against the operator’s own site on 1 September 2026.

Bill’s Sevenoaks has closed. The chain’s summer offer fed two under-10s free on weekdays, and older lists still point at the London Road branch. Bill’s own locations page no longer includes Sevenoaks, and the old Sevenoaks page now redirects to that list (Bill’s locations). The nearest branches are Tunbridge Wells and Bluewater.

The Asda cafe in Swanley can no longer be verified. Asda cafes have run famous kids’ deals for years, and lists still send families to the Swanley Supercentre. The Swanley cafe’s dedicated page has been removed from Asda’s own store locator, and we could not verify the cafe or its old offer anywhere else on Asda’s site (Asda Swanley store page). If the cafe matters to your trip, ring the store first.

The Sainsbury’s cafe deals do not apply here, and that is good news. National lists quote £1 kids’ meals at Sainsbury’s Cafes. The Otford Road store’s eating space is a Restaurant Hub food court, not a Sainsbury’s Cafe, so those terms are the wrong ones to read. The Hub’s own after-3pm deal, above, is the one that actually applies (Restaurant Hub locations).

Several headline chains simply are not here. ASK Italian and Bella Italia both anchor the national lists, and both put their nearest restaurant at Bluewater on their own sites. Tesco’s school-holiday cafe deal only works in stores with a full Tesco Cafe, and we could not verify one anywhere in the district, so check Tesco’s own store locator before planning around it.

When the free-meal offers come back

The school-holiday offers are seasonal, and the next season is October half term, 26 to 30 October. In recent rounds Toby Carvery, Zizzi and the supermarket cafes have all re-run kids’ deals for half terms, but as of 1 September none of them has announced October dates, and last season’s terms are not a promise. Check each operator’s offers page in mid-October, or just use the two year-round deals above, which do not care what week it is.

For the days between meals, our guides to things to do with kids in Sevenoaks and the district’s parks and playgrounds cover the free part of the day out.

Frequently asked questions

Where can kids eat free in Sevenoaks in term time? Free, at Premier Inn on Hitchen Hatch Lane: up to two under-16s eat breakfast free when an adult orders the full breakfast from £10.99 (Premier Inn). Next best is £1: the Restaurant Hub at Sainsbury’s on Otford Road does kids’ meals for £1 with an adult meal, every day after 3pm (The Restaurant Hub).

Do I need an app or membership for these deals? For two of the four, yes. Toby Carvery’s £1 deal needs a voucher from the Toby app, and Zizzi’s free kids’ meals need free Zillionaires’ Club membership with the code shown at payment. The Restaurant Hub and Premier Inn deals need nothing beyond turning up and ordering the qualifying adult meal.

What ages count as a child in each offer? Premier Inn states its limit outright: under 16 (Premier Inn). The other three tie the deal to their children’s menus, and none of the offer pages we read on 1 September publishes a hard age limit, so ask when you book if your child is on the boundary.

Is there still a kids eat free deal at Zizzi Sevenoaks? Until Sunday 6 September 2026, yes: one free three-course Bambini meal per adult main, Sunday to Friday, for Zillionaires’ Club members (Zizzi). After that Zizzi says the offer returns during selected school holidays, with October dates not yet announced.

Does the Asda cafe in Swanley still do kids eat free? We could not verify it. The cafe’s page on Asda’s own store locator has been removed, and the deal older lists describe is published nowhere we could find on Asda’s site (Asda Swanley). Ring the store before making the trip.

Are these offers valid on bank holidays and weekends? The Restaurant Hub and Premier Inn deals run every day. Zizzi’s summer offer excludes Saturdays. Toby Carvery’s £1 deal runs every day until it ends on 4 September. Always re-check the operator’s page on the day; every offer here reserves the right to change.
