Brunch in Sevenoaks: Who Opens Earliest, and What It Costs

Where you go for brunch in Sevenoaks comes down to two things the listicles rarely tell you: what time the door actually opens, and whether you can walk in or have to book. A café that opens at 10am is no use if you want to eat before a morning train, and a Saturday walk-in policy matters more than any menu description.

So this guide is built from opening times, published prices and booking rules, every one of them taken from the venue’s own website or, for the Bligh’s Meadow units, from the shopping centre’s own dining listing. It also includes one place we have deliberately left off, and the official record that explains why.

Breakfast and brunch in Sevenoaks at a glance

The one to cross off your list

Almost every roundup of brunch in Sevenoaks still recommends Deckhouse, on London Road by Bligh’s Meadow, usually quoting a bottomless brunch price. Two things are worth knowing before you plan a trip around it.

The company behind it, DECKHOUSE (SEVENOAKS) LTD, company number 14379767, is recorded at Companies House with a status of Liquidation. The insolvency record shows a creditors’ voluntary liquidation with winding up commencing on 7 April 2026, and two licensed insolvency practitioners appointed on the same date (Companies House). Separately, its website address no longer resolves at all, so there is no menu, no opening times and no booking page to check.

We are not going to tell you the building is dark, because we have not stood outside it. What we can tell you is that the operating company is in liquidation and the website is gone, which is more than any of the roundups still listing it will tell you. Ring ahead before you build a Saturday around it.

When you can actually get breakfast

Before 8am the town is thin. Costa in Bligh’s Meadow opens at 06:00 Monday to Saturday and 07:00 on Sunday, which makes it the earliest thing open in the centre by two clear hours (Bligh’s Meadow).

From 8am the choice opens up. Sopranos, The Sennockian and Joe & The Juice all start at eight on weekdays. Rafferty’s follows at nine. If you want a sit-down brunch rather than a coffee and a pastry, ten o’clock is realistically when the day starts.

Sopranos, Dorset Street

Sopranos is a family-run Mediterranean and Turkish café that has been on Dorset Street since late 2013, a minute off the High Street at 8 Dorset Street, TN13 1LL. It opens 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Saturday and 10:00 to 16:00 on Sunday (Sopranos).

It is also the only place in this guide that publishes a full breakfast price list on its own website (Sopranos menu):

• Full Breakfast, £12.50: streaky bacon, scrambled egg, Haywards sausages, mushroom, grilled vine tomato and toasted sourdough
• Good Breakfast, £9.50: bacon, scrambled eggs and mushroom on sourdough
• Veggie Brekkie, £11.95: two poached eggs, avocado and tomato on sourdough
• Salmon and poached egg, £10.50: with avocado on sourdough
• Light Breakfast, £7.95: two poached eggs and avocado on sourdough
• Eggs on toast, £6.75
• Pancakes, £7.25 to £7.95: chocolate and banana, lemon and sugar, salmon and soft cheese, or ham and cheese

Extras are £2.25 to £3.50 each, so a full breakfast with hash browns and avocado lands nearer £18 than £12.50. There are gluten free and vegetarian options (Sopranos), and free Wi-Fi.

Rafferty’s, Holly Bush Lane

Rafferty’s sits at 54 Holly Bush Lane, TN13 3TL, on one of the older side streets off the High Street rather than in the middle of the shopping run, and it is the pick if you care about how the food is made. Everything is prepared and cooked on the premises, the eggs are free range and the butter is real butter, with gluten free and dairy free options available. The favourites the café names itself are the smashed avocado, the pancakes and the full English (Rafferty’s).

Hours are 09:00 to 15:30 Monday to Saturday, closed Sunday, and open on bank holidays other than Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Menus are posted on the Rafferty’s menu page as images and prices are not published online, so treat the menu as a guide and check on the day.

Life on High, 140 High Street

Life on High trades as Life on High x Three Sisters: a specialty coffee café by day at 140 High Street, TN13 1XE, and a restaurant and bar at night. The kitchen leans on local suppliers, in-season and organic produce where it can get it, with separate weekday and weekend menus (Life on High).

The booking rules are unusual enough to catch people out, and they are worth reading before a weekend walk-in. The café takes a limited number of daytime bookings and takes no bookings at all on Saturdays or Sundays. Reservations are meant for people eating breakfast, brunch or lunch, and the café asks you not to reserve a table just to meet a friend for coffee. There is no landline, so queries go through the contact form on the site (Life on High reservations).

Bligh’s Meadow: the reliable middle

The shopping centre off London Road covers most of the practical cases, and its own dining page carries current hours (Bligh’s Meadow).

• GAIL’s Bakery, Unit 1 Bligh’s Court, TN13 1DD, serves its Baker’s Breakfast menu until 3pm daily, which makes it the answer when someone surfaces at two o’clock and still wants breakfast (GAIL’s).
• Nonna Cappuccini’s does all-day breakfasts and light lunches with an outdoor seating area, an Italian café run as a family business.
• Costa at 2 Bligh’s Walk opens 06:00 Monday to Saturday, 07:00 Sunday.
• Joe & The Juice opens at 08:00 every day, closing at 7pm on weekdays and 5pm at weekends.

The Sennockian, High Street

The Sennockian is the Wetherspoon at 139 to 141 High Street, TN13 1UX. It opens at 08:00 seven days a week, which no independent in town matches on a Sunday, and it lists Wi-Fi, TV screens, a licensed outside area, baby changing and step-free access (Wetherspoon).

Worth the drive: Brunch, in Westerham

The most single-minded brunch venue in the district is a place in Westerham called, simply, Brunch. It is at 7 The Barn, The Courtyard, Market Square, Westerham, TN16 1AZ, about twenty minutes’ drive west of Sevenoaks.

The rules are strict and stated plainly on its own site: walk-in only, no bookings taken, maximum table size six, and it describes itself as an adult environment with an outdoor courtyard. Dogs are welcome if there is space to seat them safely. Hours are 10:00 to 16:00 Monday and Wednesday to Saturday, 10:00 to 14:30 on Sunday, closed Tuesdays, with the kitchen closing an hour before the doors (Brunch).

The kitchen changes the menu every few days, so the published list is a sample rather than a promise. Recent dishes include pan seared scallops with bacon and haggis on sourdough, a breakfast waffle with a sausage patty and a fried egg, and vanilla French toast with summer berries (Brunch sample menu).

Twig and Spoon, Ash: closed at the time of writing

Twig and Spoon at Woodlands Garden Centre, Ash Lane, TN15 7EG serves brunch every day until 11:30am, from a gourmet breakfast with black pudding to eggs royale and poached eggs on smashed avocado. Normal hours are 09:00 to 16:30 Monday to Saturday and 10:00 to 16:00 on Sunday.

At the time of writing its own website carries a notice across the top of every page: due to area wide water issues, the restaurant is currently closed (Twig and Spoon). Check the homepage before you drive out there.

Breakfast at Knole, and where to park

The Brewhouse Café at Knole opens 10:00 to 17:00, with last orders half an hour before closing. The catch is that it sits inside the ticketed area, so it comes with either the Outdoor and Tower ticket or the Showrooms ticket rather than being free to wander into (National Trust). Where can you get brunch in Sevenoaks without booking? Almost everywhere, and in two cases you have no choice. How much is a full breakfast in Sevenoaks? Sopranos charges £12.50 for its Full Breakfast and £9.50 for the smaller Good Breakfast, with extras at £2.25 to £3.50 each. It is the only venue in this guide that publishes breakfast prices on its own website, so treat that as the benchmark rather than the average.

Is there a bottomless brunch in Sevenoaks? Not one we can currently verify. The venue most often named for it, Deckhouse, is operated by a company recorded at Companies House as being in creditors’ voluntary liquidation since 7 April 2026, and its website no longer loads. Life on High runs free flow bottomless suppers as ticketed events rather than a standing weekend offer.

Where can I get brunch near Sevenoaks with a dog? Brunch in Westerham welcomes well-behaved dogs when it has space to seat them safely. Bear in mind it describes itself as an adult environment, so it is the choice for two people and a dog rather than for a table of children.

Can you get breakfast at Knole? The Brewhouse Café opens at 10:00, but it is inside the paid area, so you need an admission ticket to reach it. Walking into the deer park itself is free and needs no booking.
