81 companies took Sevenoaks addresses in September. Three firms went into liquidation, one a restaurant company registered in Westerham, and three face winding-up petitions.

Eighty-one new companies were registered with Sevenoaks addresses in September, Companies House records show. That matches March and May, and is one short of June’s 82. (Companies House, advanced company search)

The fortnight also brought three liquidations and three winding-up petitions to the Gazette, the official public record. One of the liquidations is a restaurant company registered in Westerham.

This is our fortnightly New in business round-up. Our last edition covered 1 to 21 September. This one covers 22 September to 5 October.

The new names

Thirty-three companies were registered between 22 September and 5 October. These are the ones with a recognisable local trade behind the name, with the business type each gave Companies House:

  • The Record Library Limited, Shoreham: retail of music and video recordings, and pubs and bars
  • Hollow Rock Fitness Ltd, Sevenoaks: fitness facilities
  • CleanCare Sevenoaks Limited, Tubs Hill Parade, Sevenoaks: cleaning services
  • Oak Care Sevenoaks Limited, Lime Tree Walk, Sevenoaks: temporary staffing and health services
  • Tylney Enterprise Ltd, Sevenoaks: licensed restaurant and event catering
  • Dragon Catering Kent Ltd, West Yoke, near Ash: food services
  • Sevenoaks Bespoke Ltd, Sevenoaks: house building
  • Revive Pools & Wellness Ltd, Sevenoaks: cleaning services and online retail
  • Biliki Education CIC, Riverhead: a community interest company working in education
  • Blizki Ltd, Sevenoaks: travel agency and tour operator, registered on 5 October

Eight of the 33 are registered at 108-112 Main Road, Sundridge. That address is a company formation and accountancy service, so it says nothing about where those firms trade. Four more are registered in Wrotham, Borough Green and Ightham. Those villages use the Sevenoaks post town but sit in Tonbridge and Malling.

The same caveats apply to the monthly count in the chart. The search catches any registered office containing “Sevenoaks”. It misses firms registered in Swanley, Edenbridge and Westerham that leave “Sevenoaks” out of the address. A registered office is not always where a business trades.

Liquidations

Three companies with district addresses went into creditors’ voluntary liquidation. That means the directors have concluded the company cannot pay its debts.

Two older liquidations are reaching their end. Creditors who have not yet claimed have days left:

  • Chrysalis CV Limited, a human resources company whose trading address was Winterton Court, Market Square, Westerham, has been in liquidation since June 2023. The liquidators, FTS Recovery, plan a first and final dividend to unsecured creditors. Claims must be in by 23 October. (The Gazette, notice of intended dividends, 5 October 2026)
  • Certs Assured Holdings Limited, whose trading address was Tweed House, Park Lane, Swanley, went into liquidation in June. FRP Advisory plans a final dividend. Claims must be in by 9 October. (The Gazette, notice of intended dividends, 22 September 2026)

Winding-up petitions

Three companies face petitions in the High Court. A petition is a request to the court, not a decision. A company can pay, dispute the debt, or have the petition dismissed.

Company Petitioner Presented Hearing
Sevenoaks Animal Feeds Limited HM Revenue and Customs 14 August 7 October
Smart Squad Ltd HM Revenue and Customs 19 August 14 October
Dorisi OT Ltd Starling Bank 3 September 28 October

Earlier petitions: no order yet

Two HMRC petitions from our last round-up have been heard, but no winding-up order had appeared in the Gazette by 5 October. Sevenoak Investigations Limited, formerly of White Oak Square, Swanley, was listed for 23 September. Knockholt Properties Limited, of Oaktree Farm, Halstead, was listed for 9 September. (The Gazette, petition to wind up, Sevenoak Investigations; Knockholt Properties)

What the terms mean

A members’ voluntary liquidation is the orderly closure of a solvent company. A creditors’ voluntary liquidation is not. A notice of intended dividend means the liquidator has money to pay out and is setting a last date for claims. We report company insolvencies from the register only. We do not report personal insolvencies or publish home addresses.
